Most often we mention the Aggie Four when it comes to the Sit-in Movement of Greensboro...but there were a group of Bennett Belles who fought in the background for the rights and privileges of African-American women in the South. The Belles of Liberty were the planning background of the sit-in movement and the voice of protest for woman in film. Bennett College stands on the shoudler of these woman and we celebrate their voices for us.
